Jasmine - MLM Girl [13th Oct 2005] Taken from my prayer journal...

Nick and I met up for dinner with a girl called Jasmine at Lau Par Sat yesterday. To cut a long story short, we went there to share with her about Christianity. Went with lots of prayer support. It was exciting to be used by God. It all went well and she was quite open.

Yeh, i remember that incident. It was quite cool coz it was one of the first times i actually talked to a stranger about Christianity and followed up. :) the background about this is as follows... heavily summarized.

Was waiting for CF frens outside Plaza Sing to go for a Canonicity of the Bible Seminar at Wesley. I was early and waiting so got approached by this young woman.. prob in her 20s... asked me to fill in a survey about sum entrepenuership and so we got to talking and told her that i'm going for that seminar and she was saying "yeh, you look and talk like a Christian"... then started telling her a bit about us and what we're like la... telling her our motivation in life isn't to be rich and stuff so i was quite a bad candidate for her survey. haha then yeh, the rest of the CFers came... lydia and Nick and it was quite funny coz she was saying lydia and i looked like a Christian but nick not. haha and i will always remember that painful statement. ahaha... anyways, we thanked her and left. Nick did the survey too la.
so she called us up a few days later and asked to meet us for the survey followup... told her ok since i wanted to talk to her about Christianity. so we did. and that's where the journal follows up. :)
